yes !, still get out and about to a few local meets , I think i must of done at least 4oo miles this year  :))

Ive got an F Type for a daily drive now , probably more economical than the FD (Just) ;D

The FD though is still exactly the same as it ever was,  I changed the rear bumper about 10 years back,
so the Front is Red , the roof is pink and the rear is Orange, well to me , its probably not that bad really, but suddenly its quite an old car now !!

Quote from: clive on April 11, 2024, 05:37:15 PMThe guy with the red FD emigrated to America years ago and I helped him sort out the paperwork so he could take the car with him, which he did.
Think you mean the FC !

Sadly, probably Razor blades if you don't mind Tetanus, shame as one of the very last (or was) T11 off the production line,
certainly the youngest in UK  I think (at the time)

Kevin, really surprised you have parted with the FD after all those years of ownership but i guess these decisions have to be made at some time.
I would imagine you must "Have" been the longest UK owner of an FD  It was always a pleasure see your immaculate car years back and the new owner must be really pleased, was good to meet you over the years
all the best Paul

Blimey, didnt expect you to reply ;D think its my first or second post in last couple of years lol, would be good to see you and all the gang some day didnt make rotorstock the last few years for all kinds of reasons, but still got the FD and all up together again back on the road. Not sure where the years have gone, but if you are out and about next year I'll try and get along, tent & JD ready!

Wow love the New look forum, and very thorough you were too, with all the old posts still here ! Wonder what happened to me old Tll?  Been busy changing the dash pack this week on the FD and looking forward to taking part a bit more with meets and so on next year !

Quote from: Casey;864327Thanks for posting that up Chris. It was really good to see both the RX-4 and FC in action on track. Clive was certainly pushing hard through the chicane, even putting 2 wheels over the kerb and onto the grass on one lap ;) Seeing the RX-4 suspension working hard and the chrome glinting in the sun was quite a magical sight :Thumbs-up

Made my day too. good to catch Clive and all:wave
