Isn\'t this always the problem with rattle cans - give some people a can and they just have to empty it, doesn\'t matter if its not required but they just have to finish the can off.

Lol!Hey,that was a metallic hot pink shell when I started!I think it turned out great(better than hot pink anyway)
It only took 8 cans of ulta flat camo green and yes,I emptied them all.:rollin  
I\'ll be posting better pics of the rx7 tomarrow so you all can see what I\'m starting with.Not going to rattle can it,don\'t worry.

RB the thing is a Sterling will cost you almost as much as the car, I\'d fix the one you have, as when you get into this rotary thing you may want to add a turbo ........

Thanks everybody!It is a left hand drive 5 speed 12a.The last owner was driving it daily until just a month ago when the hot start thing got stuck.
Not knowing that he started adjusting the carburetor all over the place but as he told me,it didn\'t help.I found the problem and now I just need to reset the carb(undo what he did trying to fix it)lol.
I don\'t mind,I have a $500.RX7 with new tires,brakes,clutch and it even came with a new dash top!I\'ll be sure to post more pics soon.
What does everybody think about the sterling nikki?

Hello!I just bought this 1980 for $500.It runs,but when the guy I got it from started it up it went to 4000 rpm and he gave up!So I took a chance,bought it,towed it home and found the problem.It was the hot start valve stuck open.I took the cable off and now it\'s only at 2000 rpm(he messed with the carb trying to fix it)but no worries,I\'m slowly going threw it and reading my Haynes man.I\'m 38 and this is my first rotary but I\'m already learning alot from reading these posts and the more I learn the more I LOVE this car!Anyway I just wanted to say hello.
