No signs of any oil, so I don't think we will be attempting to remove the flywheel nut.
We have taken the clutch off for inspection, unfortunately it has seen better days and will need replacing. I think Malcolm has a photo.

Looking over this it is hard to believe it is 32 years old. The interior is absolutely spotless!
Yes there is some rust on the outside, but I have seen far worse on much newer cars - I think this is a real testament to the previous owner.
Looking forward to getting stuck into this in a couple of weeks
