hi there,

i am desperately in need of rear shock absorbers for my Mazda 616 coupe. its the same as rx2 coupe/savanna. they are coil over units for the 5 link back axle.
been trying all over the place with no luck.
i went to Mazda dealership and they cant even find a part book or fishe old enough to give them the part number for them. i also need a full set of steering idler bushes as well, please help.. need to get this car back on the road for the good weather.

even if somebody can give me the part numbers for them i might be able to order them through the dealership.

i found a set of shocks on ebay for a hyundai that look similar but they are 90 quid each and i am reluctant to spend that much on something when i might have a chance to get original parts

HI richard just got your email as far as shocks go there is no rush if you can get me two then i will take them as long as they are gonna be cheaper than my alternatives...

just check that they are the coil over shockers for the five linked back axle

still for sale... got a couple of emails but no-one seems overly keen...

it needs an mot at mo!!! and unfortunatelly whilst checking it out spotted one of the rear shocks has dumped its oil, had noticed the suspention felt a little unsettled at the back

so i need a couple of rear shocks to fix her up proper..

any help would be most appreciated

i can get GAZ fully adjustable coil overs for about £60 each
plus i would need to get suitable springs to match

anyone know who might have some originals?

having a few problems with it flooding but i think someone has put too high a pressure pump on it and its blowing the needle valve open..

looks nice and clean but the rear arches need lots of work and someone has re-skinned the doorbottoms badly with loads of filler ... a few nasty bodges here and there but the underside has survived more or less intact... just a bit thin around the original sills ...

 totally unrelated to mazda but am experimenting with ideas for my 616 coupe...,,, maybe some ghost flames

its a legend car, yamaha 1250 bike engine does 13.8 1/4mile so far,,, but soon we will have nitrous.. tee hee
me and a couple of mates get to use it to do drag stuff and hopefully hillclimbs and sprints soon...
