Yeh it will. I\'m not into body kits and stuff, but some subtle styling mods and some awsome wheels and it\'s a winner.

Hello there.

Just brought home my first rx so I figured id introduce myself.

I\'m no stranger to rx\'s I was the apprentice at wgt from when I was 15-18 years old and loved it, got me hooked on 7\'s and from then on Iv wanted one.

Iv owned some pretty sweet cars if I do say so myself :)
Started with a 1.4 civic, nothing special crashed it like 7 times.
Moved on the another civic, this time with a ek9 type r engine, did loads to it spent all my wages on it, then crashed it..... It was fixable but lost interest with it so broke it for bits.

Then it was summer and I figured verts were cool, my mate had this so.....

An escort cabby, with an rs2000 engine and running gear, crammed and chipped. It was awsome!

Then Need something jap and rwd so I got this.

Which eventually looked like this (pics from jap performance mag shoot)

Still got her but for the past 2 years an rx has been parked round the corner from my house dead. So I bit the bullet last weekend went round his house and today I ended up buying it for a bargain.
The guy who owned it befor was called Sam kendle I believe and had the reg Rex 7, some of you may know him. She funny thing is I worked on the car when I was a wgt
Here\'s some pics from today.

Tucked up in bed.

And the main reason i bought it.

I don\'t know the full spec exactly but Iv been going through all the invoices and it\'s only had the best parts on it and everything I see is a top make.
Now the down side, it\'s done an apex seal so the engine is goosed and with been stood for so long the bodywork is tatty but no rust.

So watch this space, big things are going to happen and I\'m going to restore it to its former glory.

but for some reason when i try and get a quote on one they all tell me you have to be 21?

at the moment im insured with sky but i dont really like them as they dicked me about alot when i had a crash.

as far as my policy gose im 20
driving for nearly 3 years
one crash
no ncb
no points.

i understand that its gona cost me a fair bit to get insured i was expecting around 2500 mark. but it just rediculous. the ones that will insure me are 5k+.

what can people recomend. ? i really want a fd. im only going to use it sdp as i will have a daily.

im not too sure about a budget really.  either way i want one with a recently re built engine that has been looked after so about 6k is reasonable i think.

that or buy one which need a re build

hello i am new but i have been looking for a fd for a couple of months but havent really seen one that i really like.

im in no ruch to buy one id rather wait unitl the right one came up.

im after one with subtle but good mods, im not after silly power just in the 300,s.

on question was what is the difference in fueling on one with a single turbo and one with twins? as iv seen a nice on with 330 bhp but its got a single turbo which puts me off abit?

and another i have seen is that lambo orange one but im under the impression that the rising in water temp means the engine is goosed?

basicly im just after advice into buying one. if anyone could shed some light

thanks
