FD\'s are too long from the rear screen to the lights not to have a spoiler it just doesn\'t look right.

AFAIK Mazda designed them with a spoiler.

At road speeds I don\'t think it actually matters - just what you prefer the look of.

Rotary and General Chit-Chat / Rioting In The Uk?

Quote from: B.Martin;780954Its sickening, the worst thing is it seems to be an ethnic minority.

I believe in treating rioters equally whatever age or background.

Shoot all of them

Any not killed, shoot again.

Worthless scum costing us all money via damage, police, courts, prison and dole.

Here it is in all its glory - beyond saving IMO but there are a few good bits though I can\'t vouch for the running gear you are welcome to start / compression test it if you want it\'s located at B93 just outside Solihull. £100 for the lot or the scrap man gets it. Or let me know if you\'d want any bits.

Damage to lower front and rear and rusty roof etc

Solihull but I\'ll upload a pic in a bit

As said I\'ll post up a pic - I took some but then the camera got dropped in the river !

Quote from: Lacey;779394You blind? >_>

No - he is.

As I said it\'s beyond saving.

I\'ll post an quick ad but as I said people would have to remove parts themselves so it\'s unlikely to be worthwhile to anyone.

Quote from: Ian65;779355I stripped a \'Y\' reg a few months back and couldn\'t give most of the bits away.... the shell, doors, bonnet, axles, etc, etc all went in the skip.

That\'s a shame I always hate throwing good bits away. Sounds like the scrapman gets it then

Thats the point of this post... he can get probably £100 from the scrapman but it seems a shame if someone needs parts.

Mods move fast around here - delete this thread.

Hi guys my Dad took an X reg  (1982 ?) RX7 in PX a couple of years ago.

It was at "project status" then and now he\'s about to scrap it.

Is there a market for parts / donor cars ?

There is considerable rust at the rear and on the roof and some damage  but the bonnet / headlights look good and the front wings look ok.

Interior is now green as the drivers window was smashed yrs ago.

The engine was supposedly good but it hasn\'t run for at least 2 yrs

Is it worth advertising or not as I think I\'ve seen MOT\'d cars at £400ish so does anyone still care ?

Note he\'s ancient and I\'m too busy so if anyone wanted bits they\'d have to remove them.

So worth posting up an ad on here / Ebay or just call the scrap man ?

Thanks

X reg as in 1982. Looks like the First Gen but I think its called a series 2 which is why I put it in Second Gen.

But now I realise 2 Gen means FC.

Balls I\'ll repost in 1st gen.

Technically the seller is in the wrong and you should reject the car and get your money back.

But the law is long and slow and even if you get a judgement he may not pay it.

I\'d start with a solicitors letter to demonstrate you are serious.

Rotary and General Chit-Chat / Sales

Quote from: rx-dave;778569I\'m finding all my sales are to Europeans lately, sold 4 cars over the weekend and all out of the country. There won\'t be a lot of Jap cars left here before long!!
Dave.

I thought Europeans couldn\'t register JDM cars.

When they have approached me they insisted on UK cars.

My Dad sold lots of Classics to Europeans for the last few years but that stopped then the Euro dropped.
