ideal, in that case liam i\'ll take that one off your hands, how would you like payment?
thanks for that pete, i had a quick read through your thread and there\'s some great info in there, i\'ll have a good old read nearer the time :). my plan was to ditch the power steering pump as im going to fit the gilmer pulley kit for peace of mind :) and just run an electric ps pump. i didn\'t expect the 3bar map sensor to be a simple switch over, that would be amazing :) so when your in the datalogit do you just select the method of sensing the air intake?
I think i will go down the adaptor plate route, just need to find someone local that can make one for me or the other option is to just buy one http://http://www.rhdjapan.com/feed-surge-tank-swap-kit-fc3s-13b-53693
pricey though :( and it doesn\'t state what exactly comes with the kit or if the plate is port matched, there\'s some kind of plug or sensor with it?

thank you to grinder, prof and liam for your great info, that pretty much answered my questions :) im planning on running an fd uim when i know a little bit more about it, ive got a polished uim but its gone bareback on me,  literally has nothing on it, just nice and shiny:) what else is connected to the uim? or even better has anybody got a schematic diagram for fc3s and fd3s? ive been looking on ebay for 3 bar map sensors and i came across an apexi d jetro kit, can i use this on my pfc ap eng model?

I\'ve finally managed to get my hands on a ap engineering power fc, comander and harness but is there anything else I need? I want to get rid of the afm and any other additional parts that can be replaced for the power fc, is this possible and what would be involved? Regards ben

2nd generation RX-7's / How to value an FC

I would say your valuations are spot on, I must of had lady luck on my side when I found  mine, I paid £930 for her with full t&t, the roof is a bit tatty in the usual places and a little bit of rust on the drivers rear quarter but other than that it\'s a fine example for a uk spec. As you say presentation is a key factor in sales :)

Wow your engine bay must look amazing :) you have given me great plans. When you say you moved the fuel tank breather, would that be the black canister in the the corner of the engine bay? Thanks for your mega write up mate, great info :)

Thanks for your input guys, a friend of mine has hooked me up with a 106 power steering pump :) the battery has been moved behind the passenger seat and funnily enough i\'m an electrician by trade and I\'ve been getting urges to remove unwanted wires :) is it possible to remove any other parts such as the black tank in the upper right hand side of the engine bay?

Hi everyone, I\'m wanting to tidy up the engine bay and I was wondering if you guys could help. what parts can I remove from the engine bay that I can get away with not using? Any help with this would be great.

Many thanks ben

Right, I\'ve been have cooling issues on my fc so I\'ve decided on replacing the complete cooling system, ive just brought a 53mm koyo rad, do luck fc3s coolant hoses, arc low temp thermostat, I\'m looking to renew the other water pipes around the engine bay but I don\'t know the size of the pipes, would anyone know what size the other hoses are? I\'m not being lazy by the way, I just don\'t want to risk breaking any hoses and having to take the car of the road :). Is there anything else I could get to improve the coolant system? I\'m trying to get all the parts for next weekend so any help with this would be great.
