2nd generation RX-7's / Low oil pressure at idle?
July 28, 2013, 01:14:40 PM
Hi all, been a while since i was on here.

Started working on my FC again since a long long time ago. Anyways I went for a drive the other day and noticed there was hardly any oil pressure when idling. Any ideas what this might mean :(.

Also here is some pics at its current state. Resprayed it last year but still have to compound it hence the compound marks.

B.Martin bad news that light lamp clips are broken on it due to rust. I might have another floating around but could be buried with all the other FC stuff. Just been busy lately so will have a route for it when I get a chance.

Yea was really thinking of midnight blue it really suits the car. Don\'t know about going for a mad colour. Mate sprayed his FD baby blue and I don\'t like it. Anyone got a paint code for the midnight blue?

Right now that I have the FC running good again my love has grown for it. Was in the process of fixing all the small dents so will be doing a full respray. Was thinking spraying it black but open to other ideas. Any suggestions?

Cheers Prof. I may hook it up. Reason why I dont have it hooked up is cause the n/a doesnt have one. Just the two fuel lines. When I replaced the old lines I put a extra one in for it but forgot to connect it up.Have not really drove the car but hope this could be the reason why its throwing so much smoke. Probably not the reason do. :3Confused

Another thing, would this cause the car to smoke like hell after taking it for a spin if it wasnt hooked up? Car smokes like hell after taking it for a spin. Think I posted something about it b4 but dont know what it is. Its only when I drive it hard.
