Thanks for the message, the MOT has now expired unfortunately, but hopefully not too much required.  I'm away over Christmas and won't be back until the first week in January, maybe we could arrange to catch up then?  I do also have someone else interested though, just to let you know.  I live in Cambridge and the car is located there.

Reluctant sale of my F plate, just not using it and have recently restored my Mk1 MR2 so mainly driving that.  87k miles, excellent overall body condition. Usual small tears in roof near drainage holes. Stock engine, replacement clutch at some point before I acquired the car. MOT towards the end of this month. Price around £2,200 I guess, but she has to go.

Sorry about the poor photo, I couldn't seem to save it any bigger!

Not sure where you're based, maybe we could catch up at some point when the weather improves. Annoying with the verts that the roofs always tear in the same place, I'm not sure if a replacement one without the drain holes works any better?  Other convertibles just seem to have the roofs tight to the body of the car all round.

Mine's on the drive as well, rear window does tend to get wet and drip down too:-(   Roll on Spring!

Glad to hear you're keeping the T2!   I have a black vert too, which at some point will also need a new roof!  Interested to hear how you get on with buying one.

If you have some photo's of your T2 be good to see them.

Thanks for the helpful hints, if the weather isn\'t too shabby over the weekend I\'ll try and have a look. I have the usual small tears each side of the roof, so this method might hold those back for a bit longer!

Just a quickie; Was looking online about the possibility of just removing the hard part of the roof section and leaving the rest eg. targa-style. Seems as though in the States this does happen although even finding any photo\'s is pretty hard! Does anyone know whether this is possibly over here? I had a look at mine but looks as though its the whole roof or nothing......
I have straps in the boot but I imagine these are just luggage ones.

Good news!  Car was actually just flooded and ran ok once that was sorted. Compression was a little low at the rear (87\'s) but went through MOT with no problems and I\'ll be picking her up next Friday!

Thanks for getting in touch, will try and take some photo\'s over the weekend. The car is a UK Spec, had a replacement clutch some while back. My email is mw305@cam.ac.uk if that\'s easier.

Been sat few a few weeks due to sudden lack of any compression. Local garage can\'t help and advise specialist rebuild. I fear the worst and at present I\'m looking to sell as wasn\'t using the car enough anyway.
 
85,000 miles, very good overall condition with a couple of small rust spots here and there. Rood has usual rips but fairly small (2-3") on each side.
 
I\'m not sure whether anyone on here might be interested in taking her on as a project or whatever? No idea on a price to ask for but be nice if the car went to a good home!
 
Can get some pics sorted if required, the car is in Cambridge.
