Anything Engine/Performance/Tuning related / Red heat light come on and started missiny???????

The heat light has just come on on my fd, but it`s only for the first half mile it misses and splutters then comes on to boost and drives fine. I changed the plugs today they were in a bit of a sorry state! This has made no change the heat light still comes on and it has the same symptoms :-( can any 1 help please?

Is there any other fd`s in Cornwall or near? As i have only seen 1 other in St austel (black) with nice rims!
