Cant believe im writing this but circumstances are changing and i need additional funds so unfortunately i need to sell my FD, as the car is currently not running and on the road I have to advertise as a project but only a small amount of things need doing, I could just use a quick sale.
 
As some of you might have seen my build thread I got an rx7 fd rolling shell from a friend about a year ago. The body is wide arched, metal wide arches at that, no fibreglass. The car currently sits on koni coilovers but it is also plumbed for full air ride suspension, all solenoids etc, fitted and the air tank and 2 small compressors will be included. The car has very recently had a full respray in black, the wheels are riverside trafficstar stm 3 piece splits 18 x 9 +11 front and 19 x 11 +14 rear with brand new continentals all round, these alone are a small fortune. The wide arches have been formed around these specific wheels and look stunning when sitting low.

This has been my daily for a little while now and its been brilliant, very comfortable, very reliable, good mpg (30s 40s in town and low 50s on a run) great for moving stuff around, but I’m downsizing my fleet so shes for sale.

Bad points,
 
•there is a scratch on the n/s/r door and slightly on the front of the rear arch, never tried to buff it out but a second hand door would probably be the answer
•the wheel alignment is slightly out as it pulls a tiny bit to the left
•wheels are a little stone chipped
•some cracked paint on the front bumper
 
Im looking to sell outright for £3500,
Or px for a cheaper car worth around £1000 with £2500 on top (preferably drifty)
Or possibly straight swap if something really tickled my fancy but that could be hard

Any photos fitted?

I pressume so mate, it ran perfect with no emissions stuff or rats nest at all, uprated fuel rails, lines and pumps, different single turbo, a power fc and it pulled like a train

All standard inside Kitsan apart from colour coded dash panels, door trim and a cusco dash dodger cage, rear seats refitted with cutouts for cage

Another update:

Fitted all the wiring loom

Trial fitted the maaaaassive intercooler and rad setup but looks like I wont be able to use it due to keeping the a/c and twin oil coolers but will be able to when I get bored of the twin turbos and put on the backup to4r and ditch the a/c etc







Built up more of the engine bay, fitted p/s, a/c, abs, brake servo, brakes pipes, clutch master cylinder, braided clutch line etc etc

Cleaned up the fuel tank and fitted an in tank bosch 044

Bolted rollcage into final position using strengthening plates and refitted rear seats and paneling cut to suit

Rear bumper back from paint and fitted

Fitted a carbon rear diffuser and rear exhaust section





Re amemiya light cover back from paint and fitted



Tailgate back and fitted, glass in but ideally need a better condition one and a seal



Got the doors back and lambo hinges to see what they are like but waiting till nearer completion to fit the doors

Made 1 good set of twins out of 2 knackered sets, lined my lim with heat protective material and did the same on the o/s chassis leg and around strut tower and brake servo, went a little higher and further back than needed for the sake of the single turbo later









Used my greddy front mount I had and turned it into an in engine bay intercooler, made alloy brackets to fit it, trial fitted so c west style carbon lights as well





Tonight I have replaced all the fuel line and brake fluid to clutch master cylinder feed, all vaccuum pipes, double checked the wiring and solenoids, need to make some blanking plates for air pump removal gubbins, intercooler pipework, some coolant to throttle body pipes then should bd about ready to try fire her up :-)

This car has been around a few people I believe including Jordan Butters from drifted http://www.drifted.com/snapshot-fc3s-a-love-affair/ it even spent time up north of Scotland drifting about at crail, went to Ayrshire for a while and now in southern Scotland J
 
I used it as my daily for a few months and unfortunately the tips gave up, instead of buying a second hand NA engine I took the turbo engine out of my other car and fitted it, as the engine was an S5 engine into an S4 car I have changed every bit of wiring in the car to match, engine loom, front and rear body looms the lot. All the drivetrain has been changed to turbo 2 components and the diff is welded. When the engine came from my other car it was running perfectly and would start everytime, it was running a bigger turbo with no emission rubbish, no rats nest and no solenoids but since refitting the engine to this car and putting it back to standard it has an idle problem and the plugs get fuelled up, could be a solenoid, vacuum problem or something daft but I just don’t have the time to look at it as I have 2 other rx7s I need to complete so would just like it gone, but would need trailered
