It sits for 6 months of the year in the garage getting started every other weekend. I got your email saying you weren't interested any longer so not sure why you felt the need to comment on here too? The car is in perfect working order and I have had 2 viewings and 2 very good offers as a result.

General Technical / Dead Battery - can\'t get in!
May 14, 2012, 07:27:31 PM
Hi, can someone tell me how I can get into an RX8 when the battery appears to be dead please?  It\'s been off the road a little while and now even though the key fobs light up theres nothing happening to the car and I don\'t know how to get in without alarms and things going off as manual is in car. Any advice appreciated, cheers Angela x

Wheels & Tyres, Suspension & Brakes / Which Tyres?

Hi, looking for some advice about replacement tyres. Currently have Bridgestone Potenza on my 56 reg RX8 and need to replace the back tyres. Read a lot of good things about Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta, not too much info available about use on a RX8 but were one or two very good reviews, but mainly about other cars. Then read some of the posts on here which seem to imply the reviews might not be too reliable. Just looking for reasonably priced (not cheap), high performance, good grip wet/dry tyres which will last a reasonable amount of time. No track driving, mainly A roads and motorway driving. Views?
Cheers

General Technical / gear selection fault
November 03, 2009, 08:43:21 PM
This happens to me sometimes, well it\'s happened 3 times and i\'ve only had the car about 3 weeks.  Can\'t put a pattern on it either so would appreciate some advice? I\'ve got a 2006 RX8 PZ, no mods.

Hello guys, further to my post about wanting to buy an auto RX8 I thought I would update you all.  I bit the bullet and I bought a 2006 RX8 PZ in Black.  Ditched the auto idea in the end thanks to all your advice.  Cheers x

Boo hiss! A girl! Hello all, I currently drive a Lexus IS200SE Auto (old sportier shape) and have never been even the slightest bit tempted away from it when I\'ve been in BMWs, Mercs or Audis or anything, I was happy until I got a ride (not a rude one) in my friend\'s boyfriends RX8. I fell in love - with the car not the boy and have really got the bug! Anyway, I love the look inside and out of the car but have really got used to Auto and keep hearing snippets about semi-automatic RX8s or tiptronic RX8s etc etc but guess they aren\'t UK made? Can anyone give me a quick rundown of what is available and the pros and cons of having an import car? Any info would be appreciated. Looking to spend £8k-£10k only if I can? I haven\'t got a better half at the mo so thought this would be the best place to start to get the lowdown, ie from real experts?
Cheers x
