Kev,, these guys built my exhaust on the Cosmo,, I think it has a really nice tone and a lot of people think it has a V8 under the hood,, just 2 small silencers and no cats,, it howls at high revs

I think you will be impressed

Syed,, I have had somebody mail me on another forum to see if I can get hold of a 20b engine for his RX7,, I know you have said in the past you have a contact for these,, any idea on prices and if he is still interested I can give you his details,, I think he is from Paris but is living in Dover

Hi sounds like a good one,, it is down to you now,, you know how much they are going for it is just what you can negotiate the price for,, there was a total of 3,900 20b\'s made from 1990 -95 highest numbers were the early years 1990 being the largest production year and each year was less and less a 1995 being the lowest with only a few hundred produced.. The Cosmo forums estimate less than a 1000 20b\'s left worldwide and one of the rarest colours being red apparently,,

decisions, decisions
Good Luck and if you decide against it share the info as I know a couple of people looking for a 20b cosmo

Hi, what model and year is the Cosmo?

with regards value, they are really under valued in the UK especially a genuine 20B as they are becoming rarer,, prices in Japan have gone through the roof cheapest I saw 2 weeks ago in Japan was $7,000 usd and the most expensive $24,000 usd,, yes that much a low mileage late model eccs model..

If the car has been well kept both on the body, chassis and interior then a rebuild of the engine is a long term investment and if you look after it should last you for a long time,, my only concern is the length of time it has been in the UK and the condition of the under carriage and the fact it has been sat around and not used, bearings, bushes, brake lines etc will all add up if need replacing,, Carl sold a Cosmo not long ago for just under £6k and another 20b was sold last Sept and has gone abroad for around the same money,, I wouldn\'t sell mine for that but I have no intention of selling it anyway,,I still have some more tuning mods to do,, these cars will be a real rare classic soon,, look how much the old RX2\'s and 3\'s fetch now,, but I am biased when it comes to the Cosmo as I love the car

Hi Dave
Pleased you got what you wanted for it and it was worth that all day,, the 20b lump was worth 5,500,,

shame it didn\'t stay in the UK not too many of us appreciate the Cosmo as much as we all should,, one day maybe
