or let me guess the hook i need to move is behind?? i cant see any way to get it open at all if thats the case?

i think so...im pretty sure the bit thats holding your bonnet down is behind the other catch!:mad:

i know it sound obvious bit it may be worth pulling the ignition swith off and bridging the ignition and live terminals,i couldnt tell you of the top of my head which is which but there will be one live and 3 others you cant really do much damage but it would rule out the switch sounds like ign 2 isnt connecting,

Im not too hot on electronics so i was leaving that suggestion to last!!:Giggle  At least its another thing for me to try!
 
I went with the easy option of pulling out fuses!
 
anyway...i pulled out this one below and it started working again. i put it back in and it still works:3Confused

in fact its a bit of a wierd one. Car worked perfect yesterday.
 
went to start it today...turned the ignition to 1st point and the stereo turned on as normal, turned it to point 2 and none of the warning lights came on or the odometer..tried to start the car and the engine turns over but doesnt fire (because the fuel pump isnt priming).
 
Other symptoms are..when turning over the warning beeps to say you have left the keys in with the door open beeps. The A/c fans dont work. But all other electrics work - C/L, windows, lights, brake lights etc.
 
Did a check of the electrics and cant see anything obvious!!:2Mad
