Old school Mazda's / RX3 Sport kit

Hi  Lloyd
Had noticed your RX3 nose "fins" on e-bay. I have in fact just completed fabricating, painting and fitting a copy of this "works" type set-up but they join in the middle which I think looks a bit better. I\'ll take some photos and get them up as soon as I get time.
Thanks again,

Thanks for reply, - that seems to be the problem, any parts for these cars only around in NZ and Aus ! Payback for having all the Brit car spares over here.
Seen your car on the Net before, - very nice and great spec. Was going to get some pics of mine up when completely finished ie spoilers on etc, Car is up and running but needs a lot of running-in, setting-up and testing, which I have little time for being too busy doing customers\' Morgans and historic race cars - which earns money !!

Have just started to make up Factory type front "spat" spoiler/splitters, but one piece across front panel. Would prefer more period "lip/bobtail" type rear spoiler but I see from some pictures the 1972? Factory cars had aerofoil type on two legs. If you have a lip type available I would be interested ? What do most track RX3s use in NZ and AUS?
Brief spec. of my RX3 -- based on very sound ex-rally car around in 80/90\'s.
RX4 13b pp (built by Carl) on 51mm Weber, sccr Tran-X Ford \'box, lsd Mazda axle,
300mm vented front discs/ 4-pot Hi Spec ally calipers, rear Cossie disc brakes, rear double adj. AVO\'s,  rear radius arms, panhard rod, front AVO struts, adj. top mounts, 400lbs/in springs, 24mm antiroll bar, 15 x 7 in Minilites, big exhausts with five straight-thru silencers !!, full cage, big foam ally fuel tank, etc etc.  Got all the standard road stuff working so has a proper MOT, taxed and on the road !!             It\'s crazy and a hoot !!  -won\'t be used as road car but useful for running in and testing components- need to get it on the track and set up.

     Cheers

Hi Clive
Thanks for info. I had seen your posting re. Mathwall RX3 parts - very informative, and I\'ve followed worldwide net. links with no success.
Probably end up fabricating them.
I\'ll post up the spec. of the car and some pics when complete.

My link with the RX3 goes back many years, to 1974/5 in fact when I persuaded my Dad to buy one so I could drive it. It was an orange Coupe which didn\'t suit him ( he sold it after a year) but I loved it, quicker than the Escorts etc around then, but a bit hairy on the grip and handling front if I remember.
Since then I\'ve built and raced quite a few different cars, mainly Morgans,
but I always hankered after having a crack at an RX3. Obviously they don\'t come along very often, but this one did so I thought - what the hell why not !!

Cheers
Chas

Hi Everybody
I know this is a longshot :rollin, but does anyone have an RX3 Sport kit or even better a Mathwall Mazda front and rear spoiler for sale ? - before I go to all the trouble of fabricating them !
Just finished building an RX3 Group 2 (ish) circuit racer and they would finish it of nicely.

Cheers
Chas
