Cars for Sale / Rx7 FC turbo II Cabriolet
November 22, 2015, 06:05:24 PM
Hello chaps

Here we have for sale my pretty stock rx7 FC turbo II cabriolet.
The only mod on this is stainless twin exhaust as the stock one was rusted.

1989 Mazda rx7 FC3S

Gorgeous example of a second generation Mazda RX7 - I bought this car with the intention of drifting, but once I picked the car up in England and had a good look around the car, I have decided it is far too nice to drift.

I have given the paint a hand polish and its come up nice and bright, could do with a professional detail to remove minor swirl marks.
The shell has no rust at all, (bits were done for MOT, but completely solid now). There is no bubbling etc.
Just under a years MOT.
Roof works flawlessly and does not leak at all.

Most importantly - the engine. As I mentioned earlier I intended to drift this car, unassumingly I had it compression tested and the results staggered me, all rotors were in the 7's (pictures to prove results) which makes me think the engine has been rebuilt in its life.

That sealed it for me, I'm not going to ruin a perfectly good example of a classic.
To sum up;
Compression Results; FRONT 7.7 7.6 7.7 REAR 7.1 7.1 6.5
Electric Roof is solid and works flawlessly with no leaks
Engine is untouched and completely standard.
Car comes with a stainless exhaust from downpipe back (no cat, un-needed due to age)
Interior is in great condition (small amount of bolster wear, check pictures)
Mechanically everything is spot on, a genuine example of an unmolested classic.
Still sits on standard alloys with good tread.
Parts service history included including the original second hand price the man before me bought it for! (nice to see haha)
Since my ownership, it has been kept in a dry unit and run every weekend.
I have plenty more pictures if required.
Contact me on here or on 07943859779
thanks
Kieran

Already replaced plugs/fuel filter also going to replace fuel pump and sock on saturday - last resort is new injectors - after that only thing i could be is wiring loom.

Did the poor mans non sequential while we had the UIM off and now its not boosting at all - Boost leak is posible or i might not have done the poor mans nonseq right?

Haha endless rotary problems

ok, so ran a positive and ground source to both secondary injectors - they are both clicking which means they should be working. Any other ideas?

I. C. E. & Electrical / FD popup lights always up
May 22, 2014, 08:49:19 AM
hi mate cheers for the advice - i have 2 retra relays but there is a chance both of them could be faulty - when i hold the switch with the relay in the lights move up and down continuously - so i dont know if its a problem with wiring.

Cant find a retra relay for less than £25 at the minute and dont want to waste £25 on another relay if its not the problem

il have a search for that post - Any ideas what thread it was in?

After reading up a ton there - it seems as though my secondary injectors are possibly not working - hence it leaning out on second turbo and fuel cutting.

i will test them when i get a chance (aswell as replace all hose with fresh vacuum hose (just bought 10m of it) and get back to yous
