Hey Guys,

I\'ve had a search around the forums, but i can\'t find a definite answer - basically i\'ve got a nice high flow cat that i\'d like to bolt on my fd3, i\'ve removed the airpump (was knackered anyway) and fitted a smaller belt.

The car is running:-

Trust SMIC
ARC Induction box
HKS downpipe
Racing Beat Catback
Knightsports ECU

If i fit this high flow cat will i blow the engine to bits?? Seems to be alot people going on about fitting an ECU before - whys this? Will it cause the engine to run very lean?

I\'m going to get a apexi next month, but am i ok to run with this setup for now?

Cheers

Clive

Just got back from Wheels in motion today, big respect to Tony, the guy obviously knows his stuff and is very proffesional about his work...my 7 handles like it should do now!! Well worth the money imo...

Oh and there was a 650bhp Lexus IS200 drift car ouside aswell ;)

i\'ll post pics up in a bit...

Yeah my rx is about 5 inches from the ground too!!..

Really appreciate the advice gents. Glad to see i\'m not the only one thinking 17\'s are a better option, I\'m off to see martin at speedline imports tomorrow, looking at a set of 17" enkei RPF1\'s..... ;)

Atomic Rex - Don\'t suppose you have a pic/link to those mag wheels you mentioned....?

Alright gents, i\'ve recently dropped the 7 on some tein flex coillies, shes running some 17" 5 spoke wheels - doesn\'t look too bad but not the \'look\' i\'m after. Prob is i tried a mates 18" BBS Lm\'s on there the other day - and i thought it looked cr4p! (not the wheel - the whole appearance)

The 18\'s looked massive!!! seemed to big for the car....

But tons of people on here run 18s

i\'m confused

heres mine...

So basically, can some of you post some shots of nice 17s or suggest why those 18\'s look so out of place....:3Confused

Had the same thing happen to me a few weeks back mate, mine was a knackered rad. might be a split hose or something.....i used radweld to keep me going until i got a replacement....

haha cheers lads, i figured it might be me being a little too confident in the wet, just fitted some tein coilovers this weekend, now it handles sweet. Not sure what it\'ll be like in the wet though!

Better go look at those stalks then - thanks again people...

Hey people, had a bit of a scary journey to work this morning - pulled onto a sliproad to come on to the M23, i put my foot down (in 3rd) and the rear wheels spun up (it was raining) , i\'m doing about 60mph sideways approaching a motorway....

anyway in my panic of smashing up the fd/hurting myself i\'m frantically trying to gain control, cars snaking down the road etc etc and my hand hit the indicator stalk

basically now the indicator is jammed on and i can\'t get the bugger to switch off! I\'ve had to remove all the bulbs or everyone will think i want to turn right....

any ideas people...? oh and new rear tyres will be on order asap!

Cheers
