Coils were replaced and Pip has been more than helpful once again.. plus I didn't pay that asking price :)

Just being cautious, lol.  My rx7 blew up my first day driving it, lol...

It's this one...... and Pip did the rebuild :)

It's the pricey evolve on eBay....  lol....

Only got it because it's really clean and mileage.. plus I miss my 7..

I'm thinking previous owner wanted the most for it in trade  and thought rebuild would lower value? I don't know.

Afternoon chaps,

So decided to get an RX8. Left a deposit on it. It's low mileage, superb condition throughout  and having checked over the paperwork all seemed ok.

Emailed a specialist that's had the car in before, and was told that the engine has been rebuilt due to a cracked seal. I wasn't told this and the paperwork wasn't there.  The dealer more than likely doesn't know.

Should I be happy it's had a rebuild, or should it put us off?

Thanks in advance..

Don\'t be blinded by the way a car looks, I was and it turned out it was a dog as it popped in less than 7hrs on the road... Dodgy Traders everywhere.. just make sure you do your research, and get people to look over it for you and if all is well, great :) ...  If the chap is sure the car is fine, get him to cough up for checkovers etc... :)

Cars for Sale / 92 FD3S Yellow - £5000 0n0

Up for regrettable sale is my Rare Competition Yellow 1992 RX7 Type R FD3S Twin Turbo.

Its something ive been thinking of doing for a while now but haven\'t really wanted to. .
Over my ownership which hasnt been long, i have already ploughed well over £10000 inc car which is money i didnt have. Since im not using it as often as id like to and that i have a few other cars, 2 kids and a newborn ive decided to let someone take it on as there own.
When im in a better financial position i will buy another or possibly buy this one back.

After purchase the engine gave up on its second outing. Carl Hayward  and Pip from WGT were both great and in the end i came out with a 6000mile streetported engine which was built by Carl Hayward himself.  Pip fit the engine and got me a proper ecu as we think the ecu was at fault, Knightsports jobbie. He fit an Apexi PFC.

Compression results.

Rear Rotor
7.7
8.1
7.4

Front Rotor
7.7
7.6
7.7

A very healthy engine!!

Buyer will be 3rd owner.
I believe the bonnet is RE-amimiya, which is a great fit. Finished with carbon bonnet holders.
Recently refurbished Wedsport alloys wrapped in toyos
HKS Hypermax coilovers
Awesome hks boostgauge
Omoni or Omori oilpress, oil temp, and water gauges (will need rewiring)
Mazdaspeed Carbon dash and surround
Mazdaspeed steering wheel with D1 silver snap off kit
Full exhaust system which sounds great but quiet.  I was told by pip that this is quite restrictive and changing the exhaust will unleash an extra 35/40bhp!!!!
Apexi air filters 99 spec
Late spec bumper splitter (slight crack but easily repaired or cable tied, lol.)
Very rare R Magic PFC Holder
Dump valve
RX7 floor mats
Central locking
Rare endless brakestopper and probably loads more...

MOT till march 2013 and around 4 months tax left

There is probably alot more im missing. Please bare in mind the car is from 92 so doesn\'t looks factory fresh. While the outside looks immaculate, if your like me and your a perfectionist, the interior is abit tired. The plastic interior bits could do with replacing or respraying as there abit scratched. Common for rx7s. The exterior door handles could do with a respray. Front bumper splitter as above. The alarm siren could do with looking at.. 2nd gear is slightly stiff when cold, but fine after 5 minutes.

The car is very fast and not to be underestimated.  Especially when the 2nd turbo kicks in.  Its starts no problem warm or cold. Your welcome to come and view it. Located FY2 Lancashire..

With the amount of money i have spent you should have a very reliable RX7, my huge loss is your huge gain!! You wont regret your purchase!!

Any questions, please ask...

I am willing to listen to offers as this needs to go.. Thanks

3rd generation RX-7's / Water/coolant usage?
June 04, 2012, 04:47:27 PM
Coolio... Thanks Shaun... Ive sorted it now.. Turned out the rad cap was F**ked..  been driving about a few times and no water loss...

Took it out today and it dropped its coolant everywhere again.. FFS...

Turned out Pip and his boys made an amateur mistake of not putting the hose clip on on a coolant hose from the engine, was a :censored::censored::censored::censored::censored: to put on in a country lane.. *%$£, luckily i had a few bottles of water in the boot and thanks to mazda for the grips, lol.....

So need some new coolant now..

^^^^ lol.....     That would be too loud even for me, lol..

I just want something that shows off the rotary sound with no rasp and low grumble?
