So the time has come... i need to sell my FC.
I was planning on prepping this for a track car but I havent been able to find the time to do the work needed.

Soo the car

1988 Mazda FC egi uk spec
105k miles (Engine rebuilt by Rotecniks)

Electric windows and sunroof (Sunroof is jammed shut)

The car isnt perfect, the body needs some tlc but this could easly be done. There is rust but its only cosmetic and the paint is abit flat.
The discs need cleaning up, fair amount of surface rust and could do with a service but oil and coolant was changed just before it was taken off the road.
No tax, No MOT.

You should be able to take the barrel out and use a screwdriver to turn the ignition switch.

Apexi ECU and induction kit will be needed.. but i would also recommend changing the downpipe to a quality aftermarket one and upgrade the injectors. Doing this will mean you will be able to use the twins at the maximum boost.

I would look in to finding your self a good rotary tuner near you for advice and mapping.

I\'m in a black FD

Its a metal rod system that the door handle and lock system uses but there is a recoil mechanism that does get stiff with time so just a little GT85 (Lasts longer) or WD40 will sort it out. Only a 5 Minute job.

Also whilst you have the handle off its worth while giving the hinge points a spray.

Oh, for that money i would expect to have a blown engine.

There are much more experienced guys on here and they would be able to give you some great advice.

She does sound rather sick.

Mine sounded and smoked like yours when my seals went but lets just hope its not the same for you.

Pull the spark plugs out, if they are wet then its possible water seal failure.

Good news.... there isnt any
Bad news, if they will cover you be prepaired to drop your trousers and have any innocence you might have remaining taken away as they will try charge you about £3K and up... well thats what happend to me when i tryed at your age.

I waited and got an FC EGI when 2 years experience and no claims and the insurance was £900 on 9kmiles Fully comp (this was 3 years ago)

I then got my FD 2 years ago and i pay the same for the insurance.

I even have the FC egi sat on my drive as I cant bare to sell her as I still love the sound it makes (street ported, decated beasty, around 100db)

im hoping to have the car running fully and mapped in time.. but i would be looking at buying my tickets once im sure im bring the rx7 as im running the strip if weather permits.

Whats the latest date you would like me to buy them for me to receive them Lisa and if its later than that day could they be put asside for me at the gate?
