3rd generation RX-7's / sump plug with sender
January 19, 2009, 03:57:44 PM
I ran this in my race car.....I wouldn\'t recommend it though.  I will concede it worked fine, but it was a git to take the sump plug out...and if you go grass tracking...you run the risk of losing your sensor.

3rd generation RX-7's / Rx7 Store
December 04, 2008, 08:48:30 PM
Quote from: turbo boy;562244im looking at getting a greedy elbow which they sell for $130 (£90).

You will have to pay postage, Vat and duty from rx7store (being in the states) so will end up being fairly expensive.

Or you could buy from us and save your self a few quid, and a week or two waiting for it to arrive in the post.

We have a few in stock.

They are £102 + VAT
Plus P&P (next day) £8.50

So all in to your door will be £127.08

General Technical / Sports/Drift Steering Rack???????
November 08, 2008, 06:09:56 PM
:rollin, and think what they could look like if they had a little polish work done  .

And think of the extra room in your engine bay, let alone weight saving :cool

grant: we should always have them in stock, but maybe not always at this special offer price.

Quote from: jackaleks;550181there\'s a threaded bolt hole in the boot (\'93 japanese efini) just above the spare wheel store. does anyone know what size/thread bolt this takes? i\'m pretty sure it\'s a 10mm bolt but i can\'t find one with the right thread.

want to use it to earth my battery!

thanks

is it the one on the slight hump in the middle of the boot???

if so i will dig out a bolt that will fit from my magic box of bolts and put one in the post to you.  drop me an email with your details   sam at atomicrex dot co dot uk

3rd generation RX-7's / FD undertray work in progress
October 21, 2008, 11:08:35 PM
Quote from: Jono FD3;546581John... by the looks of it you couls run a centre exit system with that defusor.... could be less restrictive ??

Jono

Our exhausts are centre exit as we cant have anything coming out in the flow as that wouldn\'t really be any good.

This is a very bad, old picture.  But this was taken in the trail stages a few months back when we were offering our defuser up.

I will try and get some better pictures next week

Ours was designed and manufactured by someone who used to design them for f2/f3 cars and similar, so the design and angles used are very similar to that of what he used and tested in the wind tunnels previously.  He has said when mated with our flat floor and front defuser, that we wont really need to run a rear wing if we don\'t want to :rollin  But that would just look silly, so we will just run less angle on the wing.

However i understand that ours wouldn\'t be for everyone, as you cannot run a standard fuel tank etc and a fair bit of modification is need to fit it.

maz13b, how are you planning on having the exhaust exit??

I have an evo 6 gsr with a fully forged Norris Design engine running 1.5 bar (incidentally its for sale), and before that i had a tommi mak, and to be honest a standard tommi running 0.8bar, i think the rex might have the edge on it.  but if the evo was running 1.5 bar which any evo can run with out any mods then i think it will be very close, i don\'t know which i would put my money on if they were driven by equivalent drivers

Oi, i told him on msn

dont give him the credit, :rollin:rollin

Hope yours arent as tight as a pair of ours were...are.  a 6 foot scaffold bar couldn\'t/ hasn\'t loosened them

Quote from: mattywhitt;518775Atomic, do you have any pics of your car recently with the wide arches and carbon splitters and diffuser? Would love to see them if you do.

I am afraid we don\'t as yet.  We are keeping it kind of under wraps until it is finished.  But it will be worth the wait (well i hope you think so anyway), i think i want to see it completed more than anyone else :rollinas then there wont be so many bits lying around the garage :p
