Sorry folks, this car has now been sold

Hey Frankie, apologies as dont want to mess you around, there is another chap on FDUK who wanted to leave a deposit on the car to guarantee a first viewing so I gave him my word I would do that for him.
Unfortunately he can\'t make it until Sun am, so if it\'s ok, I\'ll drop you a line Sun lunch time to let you know if the car\'s still available.

Thanks dude. Deffo £6k is the lowest I will let it go for, especially since I\'ve just thrown another £350 on new RS-R tyres for the front as well.

Hi, you\'re more than welcome to view the car, but unfortunately I\'m away for the weekend, but will be back on Tues.
£6k is the absolute minimum I will sell the car for though. I have advertised it on pistonheads for £6500 and getting a fair bit of interest.

Sorry bud, but I can\'t take less than £6000 for it, as have just bought brand new Federal RS-R tyres for the front so all tyres will be the same on the car.
Was going to update the ad next week after I have had them fitted to the car on Wed.
 
I took the car down to J at Super Seven a couple of days ago, and he was shocked at the price, and said I could return the car to stock, sell off the parts alone and make more than £6k and have a stock car to keep at the end of it.
That said, I\'ve put so much hard work and money into this, there\'s no way I could bring myself to break it

Slow interest so far so may still be about in a couple of months

Mine was imported in 2004 and flew through it\'s recent MOT with no rust issues or any advisories what so ever:).
I\'m amazed your\'s had such an issue, thought Jap cars were better rust proofed.
 
I\'m only selling because of job loss, as in the add, I\'ve thrown at least £13.5k at this, and only needs a set of coilovers (£600-700 new) if you want to lower it (nothing wrong with the stock suspension so doesn\'t have to be changed) and a bit of tlc on the paint being original red and it\'s sorted.
Will cost a lot less than £8k for a fast, well specked and well sorted car

Hey all,
Having sat down and reviewed my finances, I can no longer justify keeping my 1992 RX7.  Due to lack of job, I very sadly have to put this up for sale, no matter how much it pains me.

I bought this car as a keeper having regretted selling my silver RX7 a couple of years ago, but sadly I have no option now.
The Busa has been sold to try and keep the rex, but alas, it’s not enough.

Having bought the car 14 months ago for £4400, I have spent at least another £9000 on it over the last twelve months , pretty much everything listed below has been carried out in that time, except the Alarm, Tracker, RB single Exhaust, PFC and AVCR that were on the car when I bought it.
I had always tried to keep the streetability of the Rex, this is not a track day car that is a nightmare to live with on the road.
The GT35R turbo is arguably one of the best street turbo’s for the rex, boosting from very low down the rev range (full boost by just over 3k) and giving good power output.  With the silenced midpipe and RB single exhaust, this is also pretty tame noise wise, on full boost they’ll hear you coming, but you won’t have a headache driving it long distances.  
Anything this car has needed has been done, with no expense spared. IMHO the only thing to finish it off would be to lower the car on a set of coilovers, but lack of funds has prevented me doing this.
I have loads of receipts of work done and proof of engine rebuild less than a year ago.
Due to crap selling climate, I am struggling to price the car realistically, and know I am making a big loss. Also, only advertising it of FDUK initially, as I’d really like it to go to a good home within the club.

Looking for £6500ono, and a new owner that is really going to enjoy all the time and money I have put into this.

I also took the car on a long run today to try and figure out what is happening, I found if I ease the power on instead of trying to WOT, I can manage to get the 2nd turbo to come on line I think with out any spluttering back firing and all that crap. As soon as I WOT the car though it is the same old story.
 
Took the plugs out today leading plugs where really sooted up trailing plugs weren\'t that bad, I cleaned them up anway.. no sign of oil on them though.
