Mine did this but it doesn\'t have an a/p or p/s pump. One belt seems to slip, so i just plopped a dual alt pulley on it for like 20quid! And i\'ve had no more snapped belts!

I turned my key to ignition last night on my fc and heard a clicking from the engine bay so lifted the bonnet and the sound was coming from the green connector shown in the image below.

Anyone have any ideas? is it serious?

Hi I have a brand new dizzy cap for an fb (think it a blueprint not sure)if u still need, 6 quid inlcuding p&p, i bought the wrong one for my fc and never bothered sending it back.

ohh your tempting me now pete, it is only in leicester so might mail him after the auction see if he will go to 350! and then make it dope! can\'t be doing with an auto tho! i think if i did have it i would have go the whole hog! wouldn\'t mind havin a turbo! the n/a is quick but just not fast enough! like always!

well i don\'t think i will be buying it as the user hasn\'t stated alot alot of details. wouldn\'t mind the bumper/s, rear jdm style lights and plate holder. i can\'t warrant 400 quid on that at the mo, most prob full of rot 2 with the leaky "electric" hood! anyone wanna buy my silver n/a?

Anyone know what type of bumper this is?? is it at all standard?
I do quite like the look of it!

The embossed logo and new bigger type spoiler! what\'s mine if all egi\'s are s4?

All UK N/A cars (EGi\'s) are S4\'s
all uk TII\'s are S5\'s

The spoiler (if it came with the car) suggests you have a later S4, so you should have 5 stud wheels

Mines an S4 reg\'d in late 86 i think, You can tell by the rx7 sticker on the back and tiny spolier.



The font has had ftp lenses covered up by a previous owner! So its not how it looke dout the factory thats for sure!


Also the engine is quite empty compared to the 89 egi i also have!
There\'s no p/s, air pump or cruise control.

It doesn\'t have a distinct note change its just always loud, the pedal goes down a little quicker at certain revs, like it\'s allowing more flow through the system! but it would be nice know visually when they are open and closed so i know when i\'m savin the pennies! or not savin\' them as it were!

Hi I\'ve seen that people do this electronic port activation thingy. I\'ve got an S4 n/a engine with no acv or pump.
Does anyone have a how to guide on how put a gauge in, so i can tell when the aux ports are open or even opening still. i think they are as i get a whoosh and im off. But at the mo i\'ve gotta drive to work and fuel ain\'t gettin cheaper! so would be nice to know the best cruising speed.

Do i have to have a s5 vdi??

any info would be gratefull i had a look on rx7club but not sure!!

For my FC the limits were CO <= 3.5%, HC <= 1200ppm non cat test!
1st test my actuall readings were 6.1% and 1700ppm
mines got no cat or emissions equipment on it, luckly the garge i do work on my car at has a tester so we ran the car up to warm operating temp and then he adjusted the timing a so not so much unburnt fuel came through the system. You  could see the readings drop! after that i got 3.1% and 1280ppm, we then put v-power in her and took her for a test, and i got a pass!!
