Last updates on anything I can see was a few years ago, and by the clips and screenshots it looks like they did start filming the other videos. I have emailed a good few times with no response. Be a shame if they are not making the videos any more and (maybe) the company isnt in business any more. From the 3 rotor site he put a lot of money into building the engine room, editing suite and converting the garage for the whole thing!

Just to follow on from this thread (sorry to bump) I have had these DVDs nearly 2 years and when I got them I registered to get the wall chart with the part numbers and settings/clearances that was made available. I never heard back though and actually just re-registered on the site a few weeks back.

The last update on the diy-re site was a few years back now, the guy Lance in the videos 3 rotor site has not had an update in a few years and even his myspace (no im not a stalker lol) has not had any activity in a good few years??

Does anyone know if something happened to him, or to the diy-re company?

also, does anyone have the wallchart they would mind scanning/copying? Since I\'m now in rebuild land myself!  Don\'t mind throwing a few beer tokens in for a decent scan of that chart!!

Sorry for the hijack

yep that will get done when i decide what wheels i want to get.  fancy getting new wheels all round anyway.

new bushings were on the agenda prior to this hiccup anyway so itll be properly looked at and anything that needs replaced will get done.  when i said i looked at it, it was more of a \'make sure nothing is fully mangled lol

oh i doubt ill even bother about the fitters, as that will get nowhere and i could end up wearing the tyre lol!  but yeah, itll get looked at and see from there. so many \'could have beens\' although it may have been a sign that i should buy the work wheels ive been eyeing up for a while lol!

nik - ive read many of your posts and it does seem that dont have much luck with these motors lol!  im more glad that it was quiet at that time as theres a school playing field near there

sih/ash - thats why i want a few more people to look at the tyre and the wheel itself. beads and all that i know nothing but have friends that do.  i took loads of pics. so not ruling out contacting goodyear or the place that fitted the tyres. id be happy with a replacement tyre from goodyear though, if it was a fault on their end.  the tyrefitting place might be different tho

the tyre is still as is is in the pic mate, ill be taking it off tomorrow and having a proper look.  what would the powder indicate? i dont know much about tyres to be honest.

tyres only have about 1500 miles max on them, its not driven often but im really obsessive about tyre pressure, oil, fluids, all that.  guess its just one of those things!

yeah, someone else said that about how the tyre ended up. im sure someone will have a better idea from looking at it

only the wheel which is now a plant pot lol, my mate has a pit at his so we had a good look round underneath and there is no suspension or steering damage, but his dad is going to have anoth look just to make sure.  its a real pain in the hole cuz a load of nice parts ive ordered are now for sale so i can get a replacement rear or a new set of nice wheels.

on my way to a mates to sort a few things for mot, came off a roundabout and thought it was just a slight slide in the wet till i realised i couldnt control it and it went wild and ended up on the centre grass divider. was honestly only doin about 35 and it was a goodyear F1 that blew out.  the roundaabout is at the top of the first pic where that silver car is coming into view. so i got a few good spins in lol

i think the cost comparison regarding getting to 400bhp would be very interesting to see, but wouldnt be a valid test as such

it would be hard to be accurate as the rotary is built for the car, and you may (or may not depending how you work it) have to include, the subframes, gearbox, rear end modifications (of which there are many schools of thought) plus all the required ancillaries in factoring the cost.

General Technical / Speedo dial Kits
August 01, 2008, 11:09:22 PM
sounds like it may be knackered then :( not good as ive got the white faced mazdaspeed gauges.  the needle was sitting at 20kph at standstill lol, but i pushed it back and it stayed, now it rises as i speed up, but no clue if its accurate and as i decelerate the needle falls very slow, so no way is it right lol.  in NI we have to have kph/mph as ghostjd said so didnt have a choice really :(
gonna have a look and see what sort of money is in a uk cluster/speedo and just get my mileage programmed into it.

General Technical / Speedo dial Kits

i have that kit.  fit is dead on and it came with a switch to change the brightness and the colour lol.  easy to fit and i wired it into the pop up button on the right of the cowl.  i only use mine for mot and removed them after.

i tried the white sticker over the kph method but the mot fella in ards was havin none of it lol.

only problem is if you take it out i am pretty sure my speedo needle is wrong and dont know if its fixable or ive knackered it
