I am currentlly waiting for replies from RX8 owners forums about a problem I have got with mine so I thought I would try you guys.
3 month old car done 2,800 mile so far, car starts OK and is OK to 4,000 revs but above 4,000 the engine has a bad misfire with serious power loss.
The car has been in the dealers for 3 days now and after exhaustive checks they cannot locate the cause of the fault Mazda technical advised to remove and check the cat` which was OK.
As far as I can ascertain they have done all the checks on sparks, leads, coils, fuelling, compression etc.
Apparently the dealer is stumped over this one and is now waiting for Mazda technical to come up with some ideas, so can anyone help as I am getting a little concerned now that I seem to have a Rotary engine with an unknown fault.
