Which of the above does the delimiter get connected to using the ring terminals i\'ve crimped on?
Secondly, on the central plug, which wire is the speedo wire that needs the convertor to sit in between? Obviously i\'m aware I need to cut the wire but I want to make sure i\'m definatley cutting the right one!

It\'s easy. You connect the red wire to a screw terminal on the PCB tracked marked IGN (+12v), the green wire goes to GRD terminal (find by tracing the PCB track) - you can find these screw terminals directly behind the speedo.
The speedo pulse wire that you need to cut is the red/yellow one. The chip splices into this.

My convertor instructions say yellow wire is the input of the signal and grey on the output. I take it that the input is is from the wire end (the wire that comes from under the dash) and the output is the bit that that attaches to the wire that goes into the back of the plug?

Yep that\'s right.
One of the hardest bits is finding the red/yellow wire as it\'s more sort of browny-red/yellow! You can trace it from the plug though to a marking on the PCB track that says SP if I remember correctly.
