i think you would need a dual alternator pulley kit, or the other alternative which have heard is to use a smaller belt running fron the fan pulley to the main crank pulley where the air pump belt used to be, does that make sense???
i think that you would also need to block off the holes where the air pump would have been pumping air through, but have also heard that is possible to leave open?? dont quote me on this, just stuff i have heard from other owners of FC\'s

I\'ve just removed mine out of my TII. I just removed the unit, blocked off the two pipes and fitted a twin pulley onto the alternator.

The reason for the twin pulley is because of the water pump having less belts (with that one removed there is only 10% of the pulley being used) so by doubling up on the alternator belts, you double the stregnth of the water pump (especially with that bloody great fan stuck to it!

The belts you need are from a very early austin mini, and the pulley is available from WGT for £45.

Hope this helps:wave
