does anyone know what headlamp bulbs the 1995 fd uses want to get some brighter bulbs to put in but halfords have 2 types of dual beam bulb a big one and little one and they dont list the mazda range at all..cant look at orig as car is in bodyshop having its makeover
Hi,
Bought some for off road the other day from halfords. They where in a red box with the code 472R (12v 130/90w) on the top right and H4 at the bottom right. Hope This Helps...
From Halfords you want to get something like:
472SB
Which is the "high performance super brilliance" headlight bulb.
That\'s what I\'ve got and it\'s certainly an improvement on what I had before although I\'m not sure about Halfords claim of "50% brighter..."
Cheers Ric,
found it. In case anyone else stumbles on this...

I don;t really get this HID business. I know how they work but can you fit HID bulbs instead of standard ones?
