Been experiencing a strange thing with the FD for a while now, when the car is warm normally after 30 mins of driving and i put my foot down i sort of get this clicking noise that sounds as if its coming from behind the dash and i can also feel it through the accelerator pedal! It is very strange, the performance is not affected just very worrying as to what it is!
Had new turbo\'s on <500 miles ago and a new engine rebuild <2500 miles ago.
I also get the stuttering mentioned in the other thread, not sure if its related, but the exhaust note changes and it feels like you lose power totally momentarily.

mine is a 2ndGen TII, with induction kit, boost controller and dump valve as far as mods go, when on full boost i get the same clicking sound from behind the dash you mentioned, but i cant feel it through the accelerator pedal as you experienced, and yet again, no performance loss is noticed, but too worries me, thing is, it does not always happen,
my turbo has about 90k miles on it, still boosting fine, and the engine has about 40k miles on it,
any ideas guys? cheers,
