no one seems to care but il persist.
front rotor housing chewed to fook
again
this one seems ok
That housing damage looks so different to the damage you get on the N/A 13B\'s.
I\'m assuming your tips went, as opposed to actaully wear damage on the housings?
there are some mad scratches on this side palce uc ant see them very well tho. bin :S
both rotors are goosed. i thot they were ok when i took them out but after removign some carbon there are divits all voer them and on the front one the tip seal has been welded in there
altho these look fine there are allot of very thin deep scrathces all over this is not going to be cheap
and yet more damage unnoticable due to cammera flash. abouve the port there is a big divit
keep the pics comming mate;)
im interested
good luck with the build`
cheers m8
come on tecchi ppl gime some oppinions
Well at least you know have a couple of housings to learn porting with. ;)
Fish
Well mate..... When i stripped mine the plates and housings looked ten times better than yours but they were still fooked :(
All depends on what your doing..... I think everyone will tell you that if your porting then get new housings. The plates, well you may get way with re grinding them, depends on the wall thickness..... I ended up getting new plates and housings, did\'nt want to cut any corners...
Cheers
adam
Not looking good for you m8:( But like Fish said, at least you\'ve got a couple of spare side plates to practice your porting :bandit
So did the tips go in both rotors then? or is one housing better than the other?
Good luck with it all and well done so far, at least your getting stuck in and learning everything first hand.

Your rotors may still be rescuable,
If you sent them to me I could have alook at them for you.I could check your side plates too if you like.
Kind regards
Carl;)
Out of interest, what sort of money do new/used (but in servicable condition) rotor housings and end plates go for?
