Title: Cusco suspension
Post by: Tintin on October 06, 2004, 09:11:58 PM
I\'m led to believe that I have Cusco fully adjustable supension

I want to raise the suspension a touch so the skirts don\'t scrape on my driveway and am cosidering softening it up a touch because the CD jumps eveytime I go over rough patchs

the dials on the struts are all set at 1 ( 1-4 on the dial ) , if there are only 4 settings does this mean that if I turn them up to 2 it will be alot softer ? I only want to alte it a bit as I don\'t want to affect the handling too much

How do I go about raising the suspension ? do I need any special tools or measuring equipment to check its the same on each corner or am I better just going to a specialist ?

Normally the numbers go up, the harder it gets.

As for raising it, you need a couple of C spanners to split the adjuster rings, wind the top one up then tighten the lower up to that.

Just remember the amount of turns that you do. ;)

do me a favour and see how hard your suspension is set , just wondering if Fish is right is so it looks like I\'m staying hard ;)
