i have recently bought a 2nd hand roof from jimmys an need any help an info on fitting it,does anyone have a workshop manual they could down-load the right page so i can see the right order to go about it.any help would be much appreciated.

Just looked again at the useless Haynes manual, and guess what?
It says nothing about the hood/roof of a vert.
As I said, try getting in touch with Grizzly (nice bloke who knows what he\'s chatting about, and owns a vert or two)

also do u know what the pcd an centre bore size for gen2 wheels are as i need to get some new rims an i\'m lookin at 17\'s but most companies don\'t do them for rx7\'s

MMM thats a good one? i\'m not to hot on Wheel offsets etc but i have +38\'s on my Red Fc.
I was told moons ago that it is suposed to be between +35 and +40 but i\'d do a search before taking my word for that.
I\'ve just measured one of my rims and it looks like its 73mm bore size and the Pcd is 114.3 basicly 115mm.

i am not sure if they are stock as they came from japan with those rims an they\'re the genuine 2pc split rims an have a centre cap that says ising.
fox do a nice set of rims for the car called the rs3\'s chris an they are around £900 wiv tyres think i will go for these.:rolleyes:
Yep i know of the Fox rims, I wanted a set of Kei Flights but they dont make them wide enough for what i want.
So are your 16 or 17" at the moment? they look quite big compared to my stock 15" BBs? BTW i think the Black centers look smart!

they are 16s mate an i really like them an would keep them but i don\'t think one of the wheels can be re-furbished coz of the dent.
so how wide can u go on the t2 without doing any work on the arches mate.so are the wheels u wanted japanese then chris.

I\'m still looking, I know i am after 17x8\'s for the front and 17x9\'s for the rear.
To be honist i\'m not too fussy as long as they have a polished rim and arnt too heavy. So your proberly right i\'ll end up buying from Japan (the after market rims here arnt too good a quality?)

your rite mate the rims here are pretty bad so i mite end up havin a look in japan to see wot kinda rims they got.

Yep, as long as you use 225\'s on the ft you wont have a prob.
I have a T2 Coupe with 8x18" all round, i have 225/4018\'s on the ft and 245/35/18" on the rear. i dont advise the 245\'s on 8" rims they are a pain in the backside to get on and dont fit nice on the rims (To much overhang).
A guy i know has 235\'s on the Ft and 265\'s on the rear on 17" but i think he\'s got rolled arches.
If you want some advice try to get over 8"\'s on the rear but no more than 9.5" they will come in handy when the power bug bites.

i jus bought a speedo converter to turn my clocks into mph but it came wiv 92on fittin instructions.do u know which wire behind the speedo i need to split to connect to the converter unit.
any help much appreciated mate

I\'ll proberly get in contact with Mazdatrix, they usaly have all that sort of stuff.
I have done one before and it did leak, so when i do mine its getting the full treatment. Fed up with getting wet all the time.

Conter bore needed for FC is 59.6mm, just had to but spiggot rings for my TII Cab. Standard bore of alloys is 73mm. ive just got my 18x8\'s on, 225/40/18 all round. Fit spot on

Alileg69, If your out there. have you tryed the +40 offsets? I\'ve got some 18" rims and they are catching my Struts? i think there +35 but saying that the tyres have rim protectors that over hang ALOT!
I\'m just seen some rims that are +45 and +40\'s. I may get away with the +40 rears but i think there going to need wide arch\'s to get them to fit.
Also does anyone know what offsets the stock T2 rims are?

hi Grizzly, i m still out here, another project came in the way of the RX so been away for a while!!! My 18 x 8\'s are +38 offset and seem to fit under the arches pretty well. they are very close to the front struts, bout 5mm clearance. but i dont know if the catch when driving because ive not driven it yet!!!! fingers crossed it will see the end of the summer, rally car nearly done now!!!

Hello M8, How do the wheels look to the body work? Do they sit flush? i have been offered some +40 but from what i\'ve read i think they would be very close to the struts?
MMMM Rally Cars are cool ;) we used to have a m2 Fiesta with a gartrack back end and 16v Astra engine. Was very cool until it got bumped a bit :(
