I\'m thinking of getting a Apexi PFC for my gen3 and was wondering how hard it is to fit. What would a normal amount of time would it be to properly install one and setup.
Is it a job i can do myself or am i better off giving it to pip to sort it out. I can import one from japan for £530ish (104,210yen).
The car is basically standard, bar a rebuild by pip and filter and exhaust (cat back i think).
Cheers
Shaun
Literally 5 minutes to plug in and setup; obviuosly tuning is a different matter - may aas well take it to Pip and get it all done together...
I\'ll give him a ring on monday and find out. He only gave me a cost for everything, not just the fitting and setup !
Cheers.
id save the cost and drop her in yourself..
with your current setup.. theres no tuning involved..
I think i may need to do it anyway to cover my warrenty. Plus i want pip to set my boost back to standard as well and check everything is ok :) from the rebuild (he only looked at it after 700 miles). Its done about 2000 now and is running lovely, but only at 7psi.

Ouch, i think i\'ll have to wait another month if its that much ! Or get the pfc while its on special and save up to have it setup, lol.

think of me s thick as a brick but...pfc= power flow converter? iv heard of peeps talking about them but wat r they and wat do they do?
it\'s an Apexi Power FC - aftermarket ECU :)
Cheers,
Alex
PFC = Power FC, as in Apexi Power FC ECU. PNP programmable ecu. Allow you to mpa your cars fuel, ignition and a load of other stuff with Datalogit software and box...
aaah u c i already knew that but didnt want to look like a dumass...so wen u get one u have to have it programmed according to wat ur running then?
