Just wondered if anyone had got any info or heard of these rare versions of the Bathurst Type R. ;)

20B is pulling your leg Holmsey.
All 3rd Gen Rx7\'s came with a 1.3 Rotary engines including the
Bathurst edition

I know, taken in good humour.......honest :mad:    :p

Not mentioned, the car is currently at Motormall awaiting SVA.  Keeps failing emissions and they don\'t know why at the min.  Told me it was because they were advised that the ECU was giving strange readings on emissions indicating that the engine may well be a 2.8.  I was stunned at first.  Then thought about it.  Then thought no way.   Was told it may be only one of 300!!  

Fingers crossed then:rollin

I did phone Brian at Rotary Imports mind just to see what he thought!!!

Hopefully should get the car some time soon.  :rolleyes:

Holmsey most Rotary engine cars will show up rich on emissions testing.
What year is the car?

It\'s a 97.  So with 16bit ECU???  Standard engine apart from induction kit and back box exhaust.

They took 6 weeks to get my 96 ready for collection back in early 2002 - Geff/RE:Worx had to get it thru for them in the end. I\'d have thought they\'d sussed it out by now though.

Bri is the guy to speak to definitely, he does this SVA stuff for a living.

Good luck - and sorry - wasnt meaning to be mean :D

If they are quoting you daft details surely they canna be that good no???:confused:

May hve also given you other details or "limited" edition crap to make a sale???

Am i Right in saying that Motermall do the SVA for Miguel/Newera?
Also im sure i read a thread about their warranties on here somewhere.

Might be worth a look?
