Post by: saxon on September 28, 2004, 06:34:49 PM
hi everyone,

i have just bought a new blitz power meter on ebay  and am having problems sussing out how to fit it. I obviously understand the power and earth connectors but not too sure on the orange and brown ones. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

does it not say in the instructions ?

at a rough guess one will be for the backlighting and one will be the signal wire from the sender.

What is the guage measuring ?

The instructions have been translated into english really badly, but it says the orange wire goes to the car speed signal input end at the vehicle harness sensor side, and the brown to the output side at the vehicle harness cpu side. I presume this means i have to splice into one side of the ecu and the other as well, just a tad nervous to do this as dont want to damage my pride and joy. thanks for the help by the way.

Sorry forgot, i guess it measures the cars speed so whichever wire on the ecu senses that is the one i need!
