not too much work once we worked out that an angle grinder is the best way to remove the top nuts off the rear struts!

I got the springs at cost, but you are looking at about £150+shipping

Looks good!  How are you going to handle getting a jack under there if/when you need to though?

(BTW RxMotors are doing a set of springs/shocks for £300ish, might save anyone else having to grind the nut off!)

:wave

Is the lip spoiler thing standard for the TII or is that an aftermarket part you have there?

the jacking is a good point - i stuggle with mine on normal springs !

looks neat though

and a nice shopping list under the TII sticker :)

the problem was that the top nut is so tightly attached to the top of the shock, that it was impossible to remove, also when you did turn the nut the strut piston turned as well and even a pair of molegrips wouldn\'t prevent it! after 2 hours of shouting and swearing we decided to find some new nuts and grind off the old ones!

A hydraulic jack still gets under the car both front and back.

the lip spoiler is standard as far as I know.

Thats why I\'m going to replace the bloody lot!  Cant be arsed with farting around any more, its gonna be new all the way now with the suspension!

Looks like I\'ll have to get a TII front section then or the bodykit from GP sports.......Hmmm decisions decisions....
