Hi all.
Cleaning up the beastie the other day, you know spend most of the day doin it and finish just as it rains! Was polishing those lovely standard metal trims on the zorst when it felt a little "crunchy"
Well later on I heard this weird sound while I was drivig along somewhat similar of that to.....say......some bloomin trim fallin off! So i wanted to know can anyone reccomend a good stainless back box as a direct replacement for a completly standard uk car? Sounds a little wussy but I wand it to be quite similar on the noise as I have a loud car and this one should purrr! :p
Also want to change the wheels (after some sod left half the contents of his tool kit on the road and gave me a rear puncture!) was gonna recon my existing but sod it. Will any of these work and is the wider one the best? Do I need to be concerned with offset, pcd and scrubage or will that be of if I say there for a rex when I order
Wolfrace Asia-Tec 205x40x17 or 215x40x17
couple of problems with those wheels.
The 215 40 17\'s will be too small a diameter. throw your speedo off.
stock wheels run 225 tyres and are 8" wide. I don;t think wolfrace do anything that big.
You really want to find wheels at least 8" wide, PCD 114.3 (5 stud). Look in the sticky on the wheels section for more info.
Can;t help much on the backbox either I\'m afraid but you might try rotechniks. I think they do a racing beat back box that\'s fairly quiet.
