Are they ok to be left ?? or do they need startin every so often??
Ive been told you need to start them every two days to prevent tip failure ???? is this true ???

Shouldn\'t think so :) It certainly wouldn\'t hurt to start it up every now and again, but every two days? You\'d be doing more harm than good, especially if you didn\'t go through the whole warmup-cooldown procedure.
what do you do then ?? or do you use your rx in winter ??
I don\'t see any reason to stop using it entirely in winter. It just means I have to be more careful on the roads, and clean the car more thorougly when I\'m done with it to get all that grit and stuff off. I don\'t drive it every day anyway, and in winter there are even fewer good opportunities, but I\'ll still have some fun on the weekends as long as there isn\'t snow on the ground.
If I was storing it away I\'d try to take it for a drive at least once a fortnight anyway, just pick a day with a decent weather forecast and go for it. :) If the roads are gritty, just jet-wash it before it goes back into the garage.
If you\'re determined not to expose your car to such adverse conditions, and I fully understand if that\'s the case, then I\'m sure you won\'t be alone, and someone else will doubtless have some useful hints to keep the car fresh in storage, but personally, yes, I will be taking my car out during winter. I didn\'t buy it as a garage ornament, even if it is for just a few months a year :)
you have PM Chris p.
Scott.
you could do mad on the storage idea
1 - remove wheels - stops flat spots
2 - drain oil
3 - drain water
and the list probably goes on !!
best idea to to take it for a drive in the nice weather over winter - you will be surprised how much the car likes the cold air ( something about it holding more fuel vapour )
there are some cracking days over winter - cold yes - but dry roads , bright sun - you just cant beat it !!

Surely snow just adds to the fun :D I drove mine in the snow this year, although it was my only car at the time. Not too bad apart from trying to slow it down!
Well i suppose im gonna have to get her out now and again!!
