Loads of pattern ally rads about for £300-400.

Koyo, cheapish - £350 or so? heard some no so great things about them - but then u hear bad things about most things if u look hard enough i guess! Pip sells them at WGT I think.

If u want to pay LOTS of money then get one made by Griffin or Ron Davies. Bit of a mission though may be.

PWR are well known and rated in aus, they do lots of stuff for V8 racers and such. They do a stock replacement ally rad for the FD and a \'race spec\' one which is twice the capacity. Max has one of the race units - or is buying the last one that Geff had in - u may be able to wrestle it from him if he hasnt collected it yet :D I expect he\'ll have more soon if not and u want one.

also depends on what mods you have, i.e. front mount intercooler, i think the koyo s are slightly bigger hence it may not fit in your stock location

hi 20b, what sort of money are we talking about for the race spec?

Are they straight swap from stock rad?, do they come with a install kit (nuts, bolts, brackets?).

Cheers scott.

well, from things I know,

1) Koyo copper rad, 3 Layer:
nice for town and cruising but not good enogh for high speeds and racetrack or long high speed driving.

2) Calsonic 3 Layer copper rad,
same as Koyo copper rad.

3) Koyo 2 Layer all aluminum rad:
nice for everything, but wll hit the limits at high speeds or due too permanent high loads.

4) RE-A alu rad:
on the way from Japan to Germany :=)
