Title: Post rebuild protocol?
Post by: framey on September 19, 2004, 10:09:30 PM
Hi guys,
just a quickie, what\'s the best way to proceed after the engine has been rebuilt? Running in and oil - ways.

Thanks

Only rev to 3000rpm, oil change at 500 miles, then increase rpm x100 per 100 miles. This is how I did mine and not had a problem in 9,500 miles.

Oil and plug changes every 3000 miles.

Forgot to say, I didnt give it full boost until circa 1500 miles. But that was just to check that everything was ok. ;)

Just need to get it mapped now. :D
