Hi all, I have a touring type x RX7 with climate control. The problem I am having is the air con, heater and blower are not working. I have spoken to Geff and Andrew at Jimmies who are both saying there is probably a dry circuit in the heater control board.
The heater control board is located behind all the heater controls etc, it is a circuit board housed in a plastic casing about the size of two fag packets layed side by side.I have taken the old one out and have tryed two second hand units both of these units did not work, I have also checked all the fuses which are ok. Know I am thinking is it not the circuit board or boards that are faulty.
The original board works from time too time switching it\'s self on and off when it fancies, so is very unpredictable.
Has anyone else ever come across this problem? and resolved it, if so can you advice. I am also thinking of getting the circuit board tested, can anybody advice on who or where I can get this done, don\'t know were too start :confused:
Or my last hope is can I get the heater/aircon etc converted to the normal setup found in other Rx7 models. As you can all probably understand I am getting very frustrated know, all advice will be gladly accepted....many thanks Leigh.
As no one has replied to your problem mate, might be better to possibly ring one of the specialists and ask for their opinion???

Yeah a bit grim innit, think its one of those things that may linger on and on. Totally cheesed off earlier so went out for a blast in the car spanked a muppet in a Saab, then had a good burn with a CBR. Those bikes are very quick the cheeky sod even started popping wheelies as we hammered up the M27...Hammered at a steady 70mph ;) I must add for legal reasons, felt much better after that...cheers Leigh.
