Title: Interior Retrim
Post by: dai capp on September 17, 2004, 04:41:30 PM
At some point next year I\'m thinking of delivery the car to a retrimmers and having the interior retrimmed in leather.

Not just the seats but pulling all the plastic bits out and having them done as well to give me a full leather interior.

Has anyone done this - I bought the car as a project car and the engine will be done as I want it by the end of the month and the body work has come up a treat with some real elbow grease so it\'s over to the interior and suspension for next years \'investment\'

As for the colour of the leather - watch this space, you should have seen the interior colour of my old Cerbera!

Cheers

I pulled out all the hard plastic bits, speaker surrounds, rear bins, boot surrounds, steering coloumn etc.. and had them sprayed black with rainbow metallic flakes. Looks all sparkerly when the light hits it and looks like normal silver metallic when it doesn\'t. Nice way to make the interior more personalised if your a tart like myself lol!! :rollin

Have to say the cars loads of fun to drive with all the interior out although a bit noisy! I\'m having thoughts of pulling it all out now and making it into a track car!!
I\'ll never learn...;) :D
