diameter wise you would probably be okay. You may get a little rubbing on the fronts though.
Offsets will be all important, but why would you want to do this??
It will probably completely ruin the handling and the ride will be pretty damn harsh.
Has the car still got stock suspension? If it has been lowered is might rub.

Thanks for the replys very much appreciated
The car is not lowered yet.
They are going cheap, I can always change the tyres.
What tyres would you put on these size wheels, assuming the offset was okay and the car had been slightly lowered.
8.5x19
11x19

Well I went and found the ebay advert to see how cheap and they havnt met reserve yet.
Anyway, it says they are to fit a 993 which I think is PCD 130. RX7 PCD is 114.3
I\'ve got 9 x 17 in the front of mine & they do rub on full lock, but they are spaced out to fill the arches, 11 x 17 on rear with no probs. my fronts are 245/40/17 & rear 275/40/17, the only thing with 11s is you might have a prob getting them balanced they had to hold the guard out from the inside of the wheel balancing my 11\'s in the local tyre place
You could of course read the sticky at the top of this section!
