Anyone driven a naturally aspirated fc that has a full bridgeport?
can comment on how loud they are how quick and power band etc? I have opportunity to buy one but don\'t know if the lack of a turbo will make it too slow.

Hi Brian,
I have driven quite a few bridge ports.
I think they are really not a road friendly engine but quite suitable for a track car.The engine allways needs to be kept in the high rev range to make the power and you would probably find that the lack of torque is somewhat dissapointing.
Having said that they dio go fast when pushed but you have to keep pushing them. For the bridge to work well they are very loud, much louder than your white FD.
Kind regards
Carl
Thanks Carl,
I think unfortunately lI have to give this one a miss then.

Bah wuss. I\'ll have to bridge the westfield now just to prove that they are.
Look forward to it.
You cant beat a \'chunky\' port job.
Hi Bill,
I am merely implying that in order for the bridgeport to be truly effective in N/A form a loud exhaust is needed for flow and they tend to be a bit skittish on cruise at around 3000 rpm.
Kind regards
Carl

Only winding you up:-) In a 550kg car you can make a whole different set of compromises work.
