Looking good, keep us updated on your progress:bandit
Cheers,

Are you planning un putting some heat shielding in there? If not you could roast that engine mount. (Speaking from experience)
:wave
yeah, i blan on heat shielding alot of stuff around that "heater".
here is a pic with most of the externals installed.
Are you gonna change the intercooler?
yes, once i get the initial break in period done, my i/c should be fabbed.
Hi and Welcome to MRC,
Thanks for the pictures, we rarely get people posting Gen2 stuff like this so it is very welcome.
Please keep us posted with your progress with your ride.
as far as progress, still waiting on the 9.5lbs flywheel to put in the motor, then it will be fabbing the exhaust (turbo to d/p), the oil pressure and return lines, and the bov connection. i took my seats out and cleaned the carpet and fixed the drivers left bolster.
should get the flywheel in this week, so the motor will go in sometime soon after that.
thanks for the welcome to the forum.
here is a recent pic of the car after i pulled the motor and cleaned her from sitting for 3 months in my parents carport getting dirty.
(that is where the motor died, 500 miles from my place)
500 miles!
I thought 5 was bad enough! :rollin
Looks really good though must be said!

Looking better and better mate :cool
are you going to get an electric fan fitted in place of the hydrostatic jobby?
actually, i have had the e fan for couple years now, but want to have all the power going to my injectors, ignition etc. thought i\'d try the old clutch fan again.
well fabbed 90% of the d/p today, it is getting welded together. my skills with a welder are only good enough to tack weld. i bought a chop saw to cut the pipes which was nice.
anyway, after dropping off the d/p, i started with other engine install stuff.
100mph club?
is that like the mile high club? a whole new meanign to the term a quicky  lol :rollin
Si
Just puzzled me is all, I mean in the UK 100mph+ is pretty common really, I reckon most high performance car owners go over a ton when they\'re out on the motor way.
Is 100mph still a big deal in the US? Or have I missed something? :)
100+ terminal speed in a 1/4 mile is rather quick I think you\'ll find
>dink< Ah! Is that the sound of the penny dropping! I\'m really fik sometimes! :D
I\'m with you brett!
heres the dp that i fabbed
