Never had an Rx7 before but always loved the shape. Just bought my new motor from New Era, awaiting SVA at Motormall in Kent and I should get it in 10 days. 43k miles on a standard engine and he tells me it looks like it has been well cared for, so fingers crossed!!!
Wondered if some of the guys from Sheff, might PM me. I\'d like to meet up at some point when I get it, and get an idea of best places to service etc. if you wouldn\'t mind. It might be worth a beer or two!!

No idea about servicing these things in the Sheffield area. I do mine myself (dead easy really...). If you want someone else to do the work for you i would suggest WGT http://www.wgtautodevelopments.co.uk/
in Northwich (Cheshire). A good excuse for a blast over Snake Pass :)

Hello mate.... Car looks great. As Jon pointed out, WGT is your best bet up this way. It\'s a great drive to get to him. I live in mansfield about 30 mins down the road, once my car is on the road i will be attending the midlands meets, which would be a good place for you to start. As for parts, shop around as these days you can save loads! I\'m now running my own business but not allowed to advertise my site on here.....so if you need any parts then let me know and i will see what i can do.

Not sure when I am gonna get the car at the min. SVA Fri then MOT and registration next week. That can take two weeks. :(

Wanna try mansfield then mate...... full of Saxo boy\'s! It\'s terrible. Can\'t wait to get mine on the road....but it\'s a long way off yet! Is there still the big boy racer scene in chesterfield then...???? i remember having a night out down there and the centre was rammed with nova\'s :( .
Yea i drove through Mansfield once on the way back from thorseby park meet, there were "chav\'s" everywhere, one guy even pulled up next to me at the lights and goes "how much powers that got then"???

Yeah it\'s still pretty mad in Chesterfield. I think we must have an abundance of Max Power shops, and Carnoseur shops. Then again there is a big Halfords!
The "doughnut" is definately the place to meet. Car Park in the centre of town for the boys to show off their bolt on pipes, mm shiny, those STOOPID American spinning wheel trim things (by the way can you get them in 18"?:D )that are even more shiny and of course not forgetting the stereo systems that cost at least as much as my house! All in cars that cost no more than £200.
