A friend of mine\'s trying to mount a video camera in his car. We\'re having trouble sorting power out for it though. It runs off an 8.4v feed.
As I see it we\'ve got two options:
1. Take the 12 volts up to 240v by means of an inverter (i think) and run the mains adapter from that.
2. Drop the 12 volts down to 8.4v and run a feed straight to the camera. Would I just need a resistor for this?
Anyone got any experience of this?
