Title: Mixture Rich
Post by: pthewlis on September 12, 2004, 05:36:05 PM
Hi All,

My Turbo 2 Cabriolet has recently started running a bit mixture rich and therefore having a bit of a petrol smell about it. Also creates a bit of soot round the exhaust pipe.

Does anybody have any suggestions (that I could possibly try myself)? Or is it a trip to the garage?

Whilst on the subject, does anybody know of any places local to West Yorkshire who can be trusted to work on these cars.

I\'d be grateful for any help.

Paul

Sounds like you could have a slight air leak, causing the car to run rich.

As for where to get the work done, pass. Its a little to far north for me.
