Title: Rx8 plugs in older engines
Post by: MikeLMR on September 12, 2004, 02:24:19 PM
I think I mentioned this in another thread so I thought I\'d throw it out so other people could have a say too.

The rx8 uses the same generating geometry and roughly the same external housing profile as all the previous cars so the spark plugs should fit into the older engines. Thing is ....

has anyone tried it with success ? my plugs are coming up for 5000miles and 3 years of service so I\'m thinking of changing them, local mazda dealer has rx8 plugs in stock and was wondering if its possible to run them in a 12a ? will it give any benafits ? will they last longer as they are the modern iridium type plugs ?
