sum 1 help me! as i was driving today i heard a very low pitch bell ringing.... so i stopped thinking me door was open (but it werent) now we all no the buzzer tone for the dorr being open, lights left on, b 4 u start up etc etc.... this bell buzzer only cums on wen the ignition is on or wen the engine is running.. its so annoying help n e 1! ive even stumped Mr clive (he has heard it via me mobile phone!

Is there a senor on the door that is bust?
both the black little sensors on the door r ok, if ive got me door open and place my key in the ignition the normal beeper sounds, if i turn the key the normal beeper stops and then the low bell starts, the 10 secound beeper doesnt even sound n e more

are any of your warning lights on your dash board on? is it the same warning light you get when you are out of water?
none wot son ever tony, no lights.............. i cant work it out! and i no wot the coolent level buzzer sounds like believe me!
is it the same as any other buzz\'s the car makes? ie, lights, doors, ignition, warning, revs limit?

i have heard the noise, its a chiming rather than a buzzing, about every second you get a chime but is more musical than the usual noise you get with the doors open. I\'ve had loads of Rxs and i have not heard this before. Does it with the ignition on engine running or not. got me stumped! like i said you can have mine for 10k, it doesnt chime and its quick!:D

Are you sure its coming from the dash mounted speaker/buzzer?
Probably a stupid suggestion, but it isn\'t an aftermarket alarm system acting up, is it? I know mine made some weird noises on the occasions where I had to disconnect the battery, I\'m guessing a loose wire or something might produce similar results.
That Will be your f100 box under the dash.
Sometomes act up especially when battery has been disconnected for a while. Try disconnecting the battery and reconnecting again. Or pull the big whit plug from the f100 box and reconnect after a few minutes.
