Really good day :) , except for the queues at the gate
Hi Shaun,
For those of us,myself included, who did not go to TRAX thankyou for the pics.
It looked like a real good day.The weather could not have been better for you guy\'s.
Kind regards
Carl
yeah good pix there mate (really like that penultimate one (http://mindscraps.com/s/otn/wink/Selbstironie.gif) lol) & great day, hope all those running on fumes

made it to the nearest pertol distributor..........

Nice to see the cars having fun & all the different owners too (http://instagiber.net/smiliesdotcom/otn/happy/op523.gif)
Si
Si, your car looks great, hope you get temps sorted. Probably just aswell, i hate to think of you driving it on the track with your reputation. Maybe you should stick to 1/4 mile stuff, you are less likely to be looking at the back end...... :spank
Sorry for not attending this one guys, work commitments unfortunately:(
Gurj;)

It\'s not Si\'s car it\'s just one he borrowed - did anyone actually see him drive it? :p

Thanks for the jerry can - made it by careful use of the loud pedal. Not sure whether Ian will follow me ever again after our rather "scenic" voyage home., :rollin

It was fun - particularly when the larndrover came barreling round the corner... Didn\'t enjoy choking on your dust though!
Great day, good to see everyone there and fun on the track!
Iain
And who said Si never had a fd.....;) What a nice one it is too.
got to say the convoy was a real blast. Never seen so many jaws drop as we passed people on the M40.
Nice turn out of Fd\'s and nice to see grahame\'s FC aswell. have to say Ben your motor looks quality mate, not usually a fan of graphics but yours look superb.
Only bad point was the traffic absolutely unbelievable, enough to put me off goin next year i think.
Cheers Jay...:wave

Yes - a couple of those roads were a little on the narrow side. I think we gave those lads at the bus stop in the middle nowhere a shock as we shot out of some tiny single track road!
Sorry we lost you in London. Lucy had a moment of indecision with the sat nav and you actually ended up going the right way. We turned round and tryed to sort ourselves out but the laptop then crashed so we had to wait another 10 minutes in the middle of Hackney! :rollin
damn technology.

That\'s why I opted to work today. Cant see the point of sitting in traffic for ages, when we all know it\'s not good for the old rotary engine.

Fantastic day got some footage of our track session it looks soooooo slow of film but soooooo fast in the car. I left my suspension on track settings so i had a firm ride back.
Si - I owe you a fiver for oil, give it to you next time i see ya.
Convoy was good, thanks Graham and Ben and grahams mate. We only had a couple of hicups on route. sorry....
Traffic was a nightmare, not good for rotary\'s on a hot day.
How did you get on with track Graham, did you do two sessions in the end?
John York had a nifty little BBQ thing going on but the service was terrible, i still havent got my 1/4 pounder! :rollin
I got some good pictures! heres one...... had the wifey with me so had to use the rouse that i was taking them for carlos as he had given me his tickets.
Well for those of us who had a bit of a trek - Just got back to Manchester now.
I can safely say that the lads who came in the back of my fd for the 350 mile trip would never allow themselves to fall in the same hole twice. Must have been cramped in the back seats. :rollin
Anyway, heres a pic I took of the track session. Got in trouble for climbing the flag pole.. oh well :D
ps Nice fd scooby.
thats a great pic, not suprised you got in trouble, i couldnt find any decent views of the track..... lets get down to the nitty gritty, anyone stack it?
OK Gman no probs glad i could be of use & all that.
Never been so glad of getting up seriously early think mine may of needed pushing if i\'d had to queue at all

& was glad i got to go straight up the A5 rather than using A43 on way back......Ahh a good day for me i got some showing off time to make up........lol
Hope someone elses, worst day in hiustory got/gets better in the end........

Si
Sure wa an excellent day out! If a little on the hot side (sunburnt)!
A great turnout of FD\'s, many fine examples on show.
Thanks for the comment Jay, yours was looking good too mate!:D
Can\'t wait for next when I can hopefully get out on the track too!
A few pics I took:
and another
Someone needs to tell the guy with the black FD and the GT wing that he has it fitted back to front.

Who / Where is the best place to find alloys for the rx7. There where so many cars on the stand with excellent wheels. My standard ones felt so out of place !
There has been loads of wheels in the for sale section on here recently.
and one of my car, as I know you all love looking at it:D ;)
Just how much where the gram lights and where did you get them from ???????
See modesty isnt one of Ben\'s strong points. ;)
Lovely car mate, love the rear storage bins colour. You did have some competition out there thou :p
I bought my Gram Lights thru Shin at Prospec, cost me £1650 for the rims and then £550 for the rubber. Nice guy, V.helpful and happy to recommend him! His numbers 020 8492 1541.
Yes competition was fearce for me at TRAX! It\'s great to see so many nice FD\'s in one place. We\'ll have to get them all out on the track one day, that\'d be a sight and a sound:D
Even had someone in a black SW20 ask for my picture whilst heading back down the M11 (moving too I might add)!;) :cool
I love FD\'s and wouldn\'t change mine for anything else!:)
I didn\'t have enough fuel for the second run as the pumps packed in at the petrol station on site. Its a pity cos the drift boys were out in force and I would have attempted my first drift session.
Does anyone have anymore pics of us on track? I can get some from the video but its crap quality.
PS Sorry Ben to leave you in that M11 traffic jam for an hour!
Good meet yesterday :)
Enjoyed the run up ;)
But not the queue :(

Dah Ben.....now didnt I tell ya to leave with us at 3.30?? Missed the jams and the heat.......
seemed to merge in with a \'mix\' convoy of all sorts of modded motors down the M11 towards London.
Great day...best of the year methinks....
G & B \'gang
or you could have taken the "Scenic" route like myself and Iain.....
We didn\'t get stuck in traffic but we did nearly get stuck down some very interesting rural roads!!
Some more trax photies here..mostly of the hotties

Lee: I bought it from the Roamer Imaging (http://www.roamer.com/imaging/albums/2004-09-05%20Trax%20-%20Silverstone/Track%20Sessions/index.html) site.
£3 for a 1.5Mb digital version. Bargain.
